I’m always intrigued by a colorless photo. It was getting dark, but snapped up a little extra light to get this one. This is on the other side of the first branch of the creek about HERE. I remember at one time there used to be a lot of frogs in here that we’d catch, but that was back in the 80s. All those frogs must have grown up and taken jobs in the city though, because I didn’t see any more there…20090928-img_5978-copy

We took a day trip to go to Xel Ha on our trip down to Cancun in 2004.  They’ve got a lot of good 1 day excursions you can do that take you around to see the sites.  They’ve got it pretty nicely setup to cater to the tourists for sure.  This shot really caught my attention at how clear it was for one, and secondly how I couldn’t see any animals in it.xel-ha-frog-pond2
